Exceptional food and exceptional service. I love the welcome the owners of this shop give their customers. Just ordered grilled and battered snapper it’s perfect. Chips are the best chips we’ve had in ages, crisp and fresh. Thank you to everyone cooking and serving in the shop tonight. You’re amazing👏👏. Will definitely be back soon.

Still the best fish and chips in Australia. Dinner for one is enough for two! Insane value for the quality. Comes with a can of Coke, crab stick, fish bites and soo many beautifully cooked chips

Granted, we were the last customer for the evening & they waited for us until it was nearly closing time. However, the 'Jewfish' was definitely NOT Dhufish. It was edible, but not worth the extra cost. And the order was mixed up re: battered vs grilled. The scallops were tasty, but the chips were fairly average. We have had a great feed from here before, so not a deal breaker, just a bit disappointed.

I've just moved into the Midland area and was looking for a new regular fish and chip Shop. Swannies is one of the best in Perth in my humble opinion. The owners are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The chips are crispy in the outside and as soft as mash on the inside. Generous portions as well, a $6 medium serve was an absolute mountain. The scallops were reasonably priced and delicious. Each bite was bursting with the delicious savoury briney juice that good sea scallops ought to have. I had the red Emperor fish. Beautiful white flesh cooked to flakey perfection. The batter on the fish and scallops was nice and crisp to bite and had a lovely amber colour to it. This will definitely be my new go to for fish and chips.
